Have you read the Stephanie Meyer books (The Host, Twilights, etc?) I thought they were both strong love stories...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've seen them at the bookstore. I see the series is very hot right now. A lot of places are holding book release parties but haven't checked them out yet. What are they about?

Have you read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series? I've been (impatiently) waiting for book 7 for about 2 years now - she's slow, but she's really, really good. Historical fiction/Romance at it's best! So far, there's Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, The Fiery Cross, Drums of Autumn, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

I personally like the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. They are not as naughty as the TV show adaptation, True Blood, but they are interesting and the romance is good. I've been reading a lot of older romance books, unfortunately. I did find a newer romance author that I do like, Sylvia Andrew, who has books available in Kindle format. (Although I haven't read the two that are in Kindle.) You didn't mention whether or not you enjoy historical romance, but just in case you are interested in that genre my second novel, MR. MALCOLM'S LIST, was also just released in Kindle format.

My taste is a bit rough but I enjoyed "The Misogynist" by Emily Downs.

It can be a bit vulgar at times. Be warned. But it's cheap.
