I read that the text is a little tighter on the K2 but can be adjusted to widen the space between letters (also known as tracking). Maybe that will help.

I am not sure how you would do tracking. I kad contacted K2 support and they said there was nothing the user could do, and offered to exchange the unit. But I thought I would check with other K1 and K2 users to see if antone else had this problem. TNX.

I hadn't noticed, Im sure amazon would easily return it for you, possibly a defective one?

This seems to have been some what addressed in the newest Firmware for the K2 2.0.1, though I have yet to find any true confirmation of this from Amazon. At this point it is simply a matter of opinion as to what was updated.

So perhaps this updated addresses some of the freezes people have as well as some battery life issues.
