Kindle Your Social Life --- We're Making Reading Cool Again

I use the leather cover that came with the Kindle, and read with the cover on. The back pops loose occasionally, but not often enough or far enough to be a major issue. I'm thinking about getting one of the third party ones.

What cover or case do you use, or do you use one at all?

I just ordered the M-Edge cover for mine. I finally got irritated with the standard cover coming loose.

I have the M-Edge cover and Love it. I waited for about 2 months to make the purchase as I waited to see what would hit the market and am pleased to say that in my view the M-Edge was in my opinion consistently in the lead of the pack.

Does the M-Edge keep Kindle's back cover from popping off all the time?

Yes, because the M-Edge cover actually holds the Kindle in place via the corners you will never have to deal with the back cover issue caused by the stock cover.

Great to hear. Now, I can't wait for mine to arrive!

I use the M-edge leather case as well. I find that it is much more secure then it was in the original case the Amazon provided. Also, this might be just me, but I find that I am not accidentally pushing the next and previous page buttons nearly as much as I was before the M-edge case.

I like just holding the Kindle alone while I read, so I got a slipcover from sf bags to easily pop it in and out.

My K-cover was not leather and the K kept sliding out; so I bought the real leather one from Medge-http://www.buymedge.com/. The Group on the Amazon Forum, "Medge covers" have suggested a lot of colors but Red seems to be the color of choice right now...the Leather cover is Great.

I have the brown M-Edge and love it! So much so that when I bought my husband a Kindle, I ordered him a black leather case immediately. Now I am giving my mom a Kindle for her birthday next month and have ordered her a red cover. I love that it holds my Kindle firmly in place, provides a nice resting place for my fingers (away from buttons) and has an elastic loop for the upper right corner so you can easily reach the switches on the back. You can't go wrong with this case, IMHO.

The cover that comes with it is fine, but it begins to stretch after a while. I'm beginning to experience slippage more and more often, as well as the back sliding off. People have done some creative things with velcro and mounting tape and such, but I prefer a less jerry-rigged and more permanent solution.

I'm seriously considering the M-Edge cover because $50 is worth not having my Kindle smash to the ground, or the back cover working itself into a state of permanent "looseness" from the constant popping off.

I am using the one that came with it, with no real issues so far. The Kindle fits in it just a smidge crookedly, but not enough to be an issue. I think the cover makes it a lot easier to hold on to for one-handed reading.

So far Im still using the cover that it came with. I think I will eventually get this one http://www.amazon.com/Portfolio-Case-for-Amazon-Kindle/dp/B0018B7BM...

I like this new cover because it has a notebook inside and a leg that allows the kindle to stand up.

I will wait until my current cover wears out before I spend more $$ on a new cover. I actually havent had any problems with the cover as of yet. I have no complaints.
