I would say that it is unlikely that Amazon would release three separate products in a six or seven month period. Not that I wouldn't like a touch screen and no keyboard and preferably a smaller device with the same six inch screen. But I don't think there is a chance.

Sounds like the same rumors that were going around about the Kindle 2.

If this is true I think I'd have to wait. I'm still feeling a little guilty about getting a Kindle 2 when our Kindle 1 is still as good as the day we bought it.

The smaller format appeals to me also. I'm all for Amazon continuing to upgrade - it can only make the platform better and add more users. If you like the Kindle 2 now, can't imagine that it won't be just as good in a year if you decide not to upgrade every time a new one comes out.

My husband and I just bought Kindles in February. I'd be upset if the new one came out less than a year later. The DX I don't mind because I understand the need for a larger screened version, but to replace the brand new version already seems ridiculous.
