Really! I'm amazed they didn't comp the whole thing then and there! A friend of mine had a far less harrowing experience in a hotel and they gave him vouchers for several weekend's worth of stays! I agree ...they owe you!

One Bad Trip

Hello all,

Well, my trip to the casino in Windsor on Saturday (April 25, 2009) was quite an experience. I will try to start at the beginning and relate the entire adventure/misadventure to you. Hang onto your hats, the ride might get bumpy!

Saturday it was very, very hot here in NW Ohio and north – temp around 84 degrees and very humid. I had a Pilates class at noon and even though I had cooled down and taken a shower, my internal body temp was still fired up and by the time I had my overnight… Continue

How I Became a FlyBaby

As a woman who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, severe osteoarthritis in knee and hips and a sleep disorder just this side of narcolepsy, I used to do ok with all my housekeeping chores.

Things were not perfect, but adequate. Eighteen months ago I joined the ranks of the unemployed and thankfully landed a temporary job a week later. For 4 months straight (Aug-Nov ‘07) I worked an average of 82 hours a week. I was working on a big project that was time sensitive; the work needed to get done… Continue

What an Extraordinary Christmas

Once again, all three children are gathered around tables full of food and drink, or where groups are playing cards or board games, as well as the Christmas tree at their father's house, one or the other beautifully decorated trees at oldest sister's, and the huge tree at the Toledo Club.

Even at the ages of 30, 27 and 23, my children still get excited about presents on Christmas morning, although now they can actually manage to cook and eat breakfast before deciding who plays Santa Claus. So,… Continue

I'm just about to start the book. I just finished reading the Wizard's First Rule (wishing for the rest of Terry Goodkind's books to be put in Kindle format). I tend to be a "one-book-at-a-time" reader.

Hi Lee! The "on My Kindle" ap is from goodreads.com - which is another social network for readers. Goodreads lets you compile booklists for others to view. I did a list for my kindle books. Good reads lets you copy the code for the ap to insert it in other pages, which is what I did. It may sound complicated, but if you go sign up on goodreads (free) and fiddle around with it a little, I think you will find it easy to deal with. Good luck and let me know if I can help. P.S. My copy of Year Zero is a plain text file. I'm more than happy to share it with you.

Your test worked. And others came through, as well. So all is well.

Many thanks again.

Lee - i've added some depth to the 'currently reading' section. I don't think there's a way to add scroll bars. It shows everything you've written down.

let me know if this works.
also - i'll check on why your comment on Sig's profile showed up as an email instead.

Thanks, Lee. I appreciate your interest! I'll have to solve that page problem. If you speak to Abhi, please mention it.
