Hmmm.. I did a quick search on Google and it took me to the Amazon webpage. Reading some of the reviews I see that it's a manual for the Kindle 2 (just as the name implies, duh.) Anyway, I have the original Kindle so maybe I just need to find out th…

I've got to look into these free or low priced books. It's a shame that authors are getting ripped off by publishers, and i don't think for one minute that all the books should be free. I think that the fact that they cannot be easily shared or trad…

Manuel, I downloaded "The Kindle 2 Cookbook" which covers a lot of these questions, and I'm glad to have it for a resource, it really opened up the use of my Kindle to me and has all kinds of info I haven't even used yet.

1. Amazon has over 7000 free books. 2. BaenFreeLibrary has quite a few free sci-fi books. I started e-reading with "1632" by Eric Flint and have now read a lot of them. Their main library has books for a price, but usually a more than fair price. D…

It is 35% for the publisher and 65% for Amazon. That being said, I think Amazon wanted flexibility in lowering the price of the book over the publishers set price. They take the loss in revenue on their end when they lower the price and the publishe…

My debut novel "Desire of Many" is $5.99 (but sells for $4.79 last I checked) at Amazon in Kindle format. In my opinion, it is not much. I worked six years writing the story and believe I've provided a well-written hard science fiction novel that wi…

Hi:

When you get a minute, please check out my three Kindle books at Amazon. Just use my name to search, and they will pop up. Or, if you prefer to search by title, they are:

1. Assignment in Antibua
2. Julius Caesar
3. Spymaster

Many thanks.
