Kindle DX: Need it? No. Want it? Yep!

My wife Teresa and I had the same reaction: A new Kindle? Just 12 weeks after the last one?

Amazon wasted no time in rushing its larger screen Kindle DX to the market as spec stats leaked on the web and news of other readers geared towards education floated in the ether.

HI! ABout the railcar:
We have one at the museum but we don't have it out for use. We do have a Hand-Cart program and use it during school time. Jamestown's "RailTown" near here has a powered railcar and they have been working on restoring the engine used on the Petticoat Junction TV show! More questions, just ask!

Hi Stephen, I am lucky as visually impaired people go. I still have enough vision to use something like the Kindle 2, which has got me insterest in reading again. I think it is going to be one of those devices that is always with me. I won't be waiting for buses with nothing to do, or riding a long bus route with nothing to do. I have been excited about the Kindle 2 since I learned of it. I am a visual learner and reader, but not an auditory learner, and this really addresses my need to see what I am reading. By the way, my home town news paper is in the works to be made Kindle compatible. I hope this helps you. Gene
