I recently attended a friend of mine's book launch and signing at a local coffee house here in Raleigh, NC and I found it highly successful.

Hey folks,
If you love to decorate like I love to decorate you will love this book which is coming out for sale in December. Perfect to give to my Mom for Christmas. There is a website up that will give you a good preview. In the meantime, I have done about as much as I can possibly do with my place and as much as my budget will allow. My kitchen is now a tuscany golden-almost yellow. I bought some yellow dishes that I adore! I know I won't get tired of these like I did the ones with…

Okay, so I've been lazy!
Well, not really... I've just been incredibly busy. Not the normal busy, but up a few notches! I work at a full-time job. 40 hours a week, currently the 10 pm to 6 am shift. Work has been very busy lately. Usually I'm like the Maytag repairman, waiting for something to break, but with new equipment in the building, and lots of new things to learn about this equipment, I've been hopping! Who spends more time looking up books to add to my kindle, than I do reading the books I have on it already? lol Granted I'm busy with work and family, so I don't have a lot of time to read...but I find myself looking up free books to add to my kindle, when I could be reading. lol

Furthermore, it doesn't work as promised and costs too much to buy. Ebook wannabes should maybe get an iPod, which he prefers, having read a mystery on one.…

So, I've had my Kindle for a few days and I'm learning a lot of things. For instance, today I learned out to put music on it. Turns out it's just putting music on my Sandisk.
One thing I really love about the Kindle is being able to go online with it while I'm out. I was able to read the news while out at Breakfast this morning :)
