The Future of Medicine -A bit scary-Here's One book though...

Just finished a book by Dr. Norman Makous titled "Time To Care-Personal Medicine in the Age of Technology". What made this book so interesting (IMO) is that it is not a book about holistic medicine but it is very much about preventative medicine in that the personal touch equates to "healing". Makes sense. When the busy HMOs rush patients in and out and never get to know the patient personally, there cannot be the quality of care that is naturally there in relationship. Very good read, and so true!
