Have you read the Stephanie Meyer books (The Host, Twilights, etc?) I thought they were both strong love stories...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've seen them at the bookstore. I see the series is very hot right now. A lot of places are holding book release parties but haven't checked them out yet. What are they about?

Have you read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series? I've been (impatiently) waiting for book 7 for about 2 years now - she's slow, but she's really, really good. Historical fiction/Romance at it's best! So far, there's Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, The Fiery Cross, Drums of Autumn, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

I personally like the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. They are not as naughty as the TV show adaptation, True Blood, but they are interesting and the romance is good.
